I’m quickly dropping by to share one of my favorite denim styles this year, especially for the Fall and that’s flare jeans. Yes, high-waisted at that.
Fashion from the 80’s has definitely made a huge come-back this year, everything from white boots, monochrome looks, leather on leather clothing, chunky jewelry, hair clips, berets, baguette style handbags, and headbands. These items, as well as flare denim, are all on trend for the Fall.
These flare jeans that I’m wearing have the most amazing fit. This denim looks good on all body types. These jeans come in a wide variety of colors. I had the chance to pick up two during the Macy’s Summer Sale. My other pair is in a lighter wash. When you can get 2 for the price of 1, why not?
I styled my flare denim with an off the shoulder blouse from Zara (a find several years ago). Do you love flare denim, but not sure how to style it? Here are some suggestions:
- turtle neck tucked in
- chunky sweater over the waist
- body suit top with a blazer
- off-shoulder top
- solid color tops or print tops
I paired this look with my Calvin Klein mules that I found for $16 on the clearance rack last year at DSW. You should know by now that I love a deal.
