I’ve had neon shorts for years now, way before the neon trend kicked in this year. I’ve always dressed it down with sneakers or sandals, but I decided to dress it up a notch for my visit to Georgetown, DC.
I styled these shorts with a button up linen blouse that can be worn with practically anything. I roll the sleeves up during the hot Summer days, and roll the sleeves down on cooler days. This is definitely a blouse that works well for the Summer as well as the transitioning period into the Fall season. I was up for some color blocking, so I wore my yellow heeled sandals from Zara. I love the heel of these shoes, because they are partially clear and partially wooden. These are two of many Summer trends in one shoe.
I finally had the chance to visit the pretty pink (& green) floral corner in Georgetown, D.C. The flower shop actually closed and will be solely operating from their main location in D.C. At least I had the chance to take pictures in front of and smell the roses.
