Hello Everyone! Can you believe Quarter 1 of 2018 is already complete, and it is now April? How are you all doing with your 2018 goals thus far? Are you on track? One of the areas that I wanted to work on for this year is Time Management outside of my 9-5. My schedule is very busy between my career, church, this blog, family, personal life, and working on my personal goals. One of my goals was to efficiently manage my time outside my 9-5, so I can work on my personal endeavors. Are you having trouble with time management? I’ll share tips in a later post on just how I’ve been efficiently managing my time and tasks this year.
Now that Spring is here (although Winter wants to pop up every few days), I’m excited to incorporate more color and printed designs in my looks. I also love tan and nude for the Spring . I also mix tan with a pop of color at times. Lately, I am enjoying dressing up with jeans and heels (Click to view my previous post). Today’s look features all that I previously mentioned, yet a simple look and is great for a weekend brunch date or a stroll through town!
[Outfit Details]
Tank top: Forever 21
Duster/Jacket: She-In
Jeans: Forever 21
Shoes: Jessica Simpson
Neck Piece: Styles By O.D.I.
For an easy-to-select look, I chose a plain navy blue tank top and paired it with distressed light blue denim jeans. This is one of my favorite jeans to wear during the Spring and Summer months. To dress up the outfit and make it look more stylish, I selected a long coffee/pinkish colored outwear. This outwear also looks good with my skirts and dresses. I paired my outfit with suede ankle pumps with tie and cut-out design. To add a bit more color and print, I finished styling this look with an Ankara (African print) neckpiece that is white, navy blue, orange, and yellow. As you can see, this neckpeice adds a pop of color.
