Colors such as tan and camel are very easy to style as a monochromatic look as well as with different colors.
Tips to achieve a monochromatic look with a pop of color:
- Go monochromatic in the clothing and shoes. Add pops of color in the accessories like a hat, as I have styled in this post, and a handbag. The hat has a red brim, so it was easy for me to style this look with a red handbag.
- Add outerwear that has pops of color. Some coats that I’ve seen this season are designed with pops of color such as fuchsia, yellow, purple, blue, and red.
- Add pops of color through your winter accessories such as a glove and a scarf.
- You can also add pops of color through jewelry such as earrings, necklace, or bracelet.
- You can also add a pop of color in the shoes. A variety of colors would work well with this look such as a dark green, neon green, pink, various shades of blue, orange, red, and yellow. The options are endless since the main color is nude.
