Colors such as tan and camel are very easy to style as a monochromatic look as well as with different colors.

Tips to achieve a monochromatic look with a pop of color:

  1. Go monochromatic in the clothing and shoes. Add pops of color in the accessories like a hat, as I have styled in this post, and a handbag. The hat has a red brim, so it was easy for me to style this look with a red handbag.
  2. Add outerwear that has pops of color. Some coats that I’ve seen this season are designed with pops of color such as fuchsia, yellow, purple, blue, and red.
  3. Add pops of color through your winter accessories such as a glove and a scarf.
  4. You can also add pops of color through jewelry such as earrings, necklace, or bracelet.
  5. You can also add a pop of color in the shoes. A variety of colors would work well with this look such as a dark green, neon green, pink, various shades of blue, orange, red, and yellow. The options are endless since the main color is nude.

My hat is from a Black Woman Owned Boutique, Shop Caribbean Cowgirl. This hat has easily become my favorite hat. The styling options are endless.
