Why hello! Welcome back to my blog. How was your weekend? I had a good weekend. I attended a local Bloggers, Influencers, and Entrepreneurship event. I look forward to these types of events, because it gives me an opportunity to meet fellow content creators. Putting together an outfit for these events are exciting. This time around, I wanted to re-style jumpsuit that I wore when the weather was a bit warmer early in the Fall. I’m all bout wardrobe versatility and making sure that I see myself styling a particular piece 2-3 times when purchasing it.

So let’s break these two looks down:
Jumpsuit
The common item here is the jumpsuit. I love how versatile a stripe outfit can be. For me, these are the types of outfits that you can switch out different kinds of color accessories. One word when I saw this jumpsuit online: 70’s. The sizes and colors of the different stripes are also a bonus.
Creating versatility in one clothing item is easy as 1-2-3-4.
First change: Add a coat
Even though the burgundy in my jumpsuit is subtle, I thought it was a color that had the potential to stand out depending on how I styled it. To bring out the burgundy, I added a burgundy jacket. This look is totally up to one’s personal style so a sky blue, red, and black jacket also works well with this style.
Second change: Switch out the shoes
I swapped out my Calvin Klein mules (which was such a unique find) for some booties since the weather was in the 50’s. Of course, I love a good pair of booties. I went with my burgundy booties, but black or white booties works great here too. I am looking forward to the third time that I wear this outfit because it may be with sneakers or slides depending on the season.
Third change: Switch out the bag
I swapped out the black handbag for an in-trend faux fur clutch. This clutch makes the outfit a little less formal than the black bag.
Fourth change: Change your hair-style
Ladies, I need to be frank. Sometimes, a hairstyle change is required depending on a particular look that you are trying to achieve for the occasion. Thankfully, there are easy ways to change your hairstyle in 2018 that are less costly.
There you have it, just four steps on how to transition a warm weather look into a cold weather look.
