Yellow Suit-Style featuring Pastel Pink & Why It’s Important To Me To Let My Light Shine For Eternity

Why Hello!

Today’s look is all about this yellow suit-style with a hint of pastel pink.

If you’re a subscriber of my blog [make sure you’ve subscribed 🙂 ] , you should know that I love the color yellow. Yellow is a bright and lively color.  I also love yellow, because it complements my skin complexion well.  I believe an individual should shine from within.  Yellow allows me to shine externally even the more like the Son of God (Jesus) and the sun (light).

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”-Matthew 5:16 KJV

God’s light is so powerful.  It has the power to turn areas in people’s life that used to be dead and dark into life with a bright feature. This is why one must not be afraid to shine.  Just by carrying the light of love and kindness is enough for someone to give Glory to God.  I’ve crossed paths with people who didn’t want my light to shine, didn’t want me to succeed, nor achieve greatness.  I’ve learned that these kinds of people are not good for my soul, and those that are meant to receive the light I carry will receive it.  I’m going to continue to shine, for there are people who will feel encouraged just by the light I carry.

My light will shine until eternity!

This color of this suit is bright enough for the Spring/Summer season and is a good shade of yellow for the Fall.  When shopping for Summer, it’s good to keep in mind which pieces transition into the Fall. This helps minimize excess shopping in between seasons.  This also means that one can wear their colorful or printed-Summer dresses during Fall.

Let’s get into this suit.  This is a suit that I would wear to work. I immediately saw this suit in New York & Company and had to quickly get it.  It’s so lightweight and comfortable.  It’s not your usual heavy suit, making this suit’s fabric great for Spring, Summer, and Fall.

This suit can be paired with so many different looks.  I love contrasting colors lately, so I went with pastel pink and yellow.  I really love this combination. Since the suit is bright yellow, I wanted to tone it with a blouse that is mostly pink and white with a hint of yellow. This look can be worn with tan, pink, white, or yellow shoes.

I topped this look with my new lovely pink Michael Kors handbag.  This handbag is so nice and spacious.  It can fit your usual handbag essentials, a tablet, shoes, electronics, water, and so much more.

This past weekend, I wore this yellow suit-style and pink combo to my church’s 12-year anniversary as the theme colors were yellow and pink.  I swapped out the large MK bag for my pink shoulder bag (as seen in my red suit-style look).  I swapped out the tan pumps for my well-known yellow block-heeled sandals (as seen in previous posts).  I received so many compliments on my entire look.
